UNIQLO are a Japanese clothing company. The project was a standalone website for their UK flagship store, which was reopening on Oxford Street. I completed the front-end work alongside a Wordpress developer.
I inherited this project at an early stage after a previous developer became ill and so we were on a short deadline. My initial approach was to comb through the existing code and design and make a task list of things to do. I broke down the design into essentials and ‘bells and whistles’, working with the client to ensure our lists matched up.
The client wanted all of the angles on both image and boxes to be coded with CSS, which was a fun puzzle creating a system that worked across desktop and mobile for the various ways the angles are used in the design.
